The polling feature of the app allows speakers to interact with attendees in real time during a session by having attendees answer pre-created multiple choice questions that will appear in the app in the agenda session details page at a specified time.
As attendees answer, the results will be updated in the app in real time and additionally, results can be broadcasted via a web link.
Steps for attendees to view/answer Polls
- Navigate to the Agenda in the main menu and tap on the current session they are in to view the session details page
- Tap 'Polls'
- Tap the name of the poll
- Tap on your answer choice and then tap 'Submit'
Viewing Results of the Poll
The web link to view results for the poll can be found in the CMS by clicking on the Polls tab and then selecting the name of the poll. The link is at the bottom of the page.
The poll results link should be provided to the speaker ahead of time.
The results will update every few seconds as attendees submit responses.
For optimal results, we strongly recommend displaying the poll results in Google Chrome.
Attendees can see the same results on their device once they’ve submitted their own response.
