The DoubleDutch app has a dedicated section for speaker profiles. Populating this section with relevant biographical and contact information is a great way for attendees to learn more about each speaker and also potentially connect at and beyond the event.

You can add all of this information in the CMS by navigating to the Content tab, then Speakers, and editing the speaker bio and social links.

The speaker profile view displays the following information:

  • Photo (560x620 png)
  • Name, Title, and Company
  • Biography (4000 character limit)
  • Upcoming and/or past sessions at the event
  • A link to additional info including social media accounts or website (if included) and your full attendee profile in the app
  • Feedback through Rate and Review, or through Surveys (optional)

Adding Speakers

Speakers can be added to the CMS one at a time or in a bulk upload via a .csv file.

  • Add a single speaker: click the ‘+ Add Speaker’ button at the top of the screen and fill out the fields. Note that first name and last name are required fields.
  • Import multiple items: click the ‘+ Add Speakers’ button at the top of the screen, download the CSV template, fill it out (first name, last name, and unique ID are required fields), and then upload that same template by clicking ‘Import’. 

Note that if you want your speakers to have access to your app, you'll also need to also add your speaker as an attendee.


Importing Speakers via the Template

Here are the guidelines you will need to follow to fill out the template correctly. Required fields are listed in bold. For any columns that you are not filling in data, just leave them blank on the template. DO NOT delete or modify any column or the import will not work.

All URLs must include http:// or https:// to ensure that attendees can access the websites or hosted documents.

To find all of your ID #'s for sessions and attendees already entered into the CMS, you can download the Content Lists file from the Exportable Reports section of the Event Performance tab in the CMS.
