Achievements
An achievement is an icon that will display on an attendee's profile in the app. Achievements are awarded after an attendee completes a specified series of actions in the app, such as posting a certain number of photos.
Achievements serve as recognition for hitting milestones in the app so they are different than points, which are earned every time an activity is completed. There are many default achievements in the DoubleDutch app that do not require any setup. If you would like for these achievements to be removed, follow these steps.

To remove all Achievements in the app:
- Navigate to the Setup tab in the CMS.
- Select 'Basics' from the left-hand menu.
- Under the Configuration section, set 'Hide Default Achievements' to "Yes" and 'Show User Achievements' to "No".

Note: if any Custom Achievements were created in the CMS under the Setup -> Gamification section, these will also need to be deleted.
Points and the Leaderboard
The DoubleDutch Events app includes a built-in leaderboard functionality that fosters engagement by encouraging your event attendees to compete for points. Attendees advance their position on the leaderboard by accumulating points with each check-in, comment, photo upload, etc.

The app is pre-loaded with default point values for all activities, but values can be adjusted to encourage specific types of actions you want at your event.
Attendees will see the point value for each action via a confirmation screen after they’ve completed an action in the app, and therefore will react to point value adjustments in order to stay ahead on the leaderboard. If you would like for the Leaderboard and point values to be removed, follow these steps.
To remove the Leaderboard from the app
- Navigate to the Layout tab in the CMS.
- Find the Leaderboard section in the left-hand menu.
- Uncheck the checkbox next to the Leaderboard section to hide the section.
- Click 'Publish Changes' to save.
To remove all point values from the app
- Navigate to the Setup tab in the CMS.
- Select 'Gamification' from the left-hand menu.
- Set all values listed in this section to 0.
- Click 'Save'.

- If custom check-in points have been assigned in the Layout tab, these values will need to be set to 0.

Note: points can also be accrued in the app for responding to Surveys or Polls. Every Survey or Polling question that is created has a point value assigned to it. Make sure that these values are also set to 0.
Reset/Clear Attendee Points
If points have been accrued and you would not like any attendees to have points, follow these steps to reset points for an attendee or group of attendees:
- Navigate to the Content tab in the CMS, and click on your 'Attendee' section.
- Click into the box with the name or names of the attendees you wish to reset so their profile is highlighted blue. To select ALL attendees, click the 'Select All' checkbox in the top left-hand corner.

- From the actions drop-down menu, select 'Clear Points' to reset the points for the selected attendee(s) to zero.
